I know I don't post much anymore, but anytime the major leagues worst player, and official "Eat at Joe's mascot", Gabor Paul Bako II, busts out with a 2 hit and 2 RBI game, I know I need to throw something up here.
What's most surprising about this is that it wasn't against the Reds.
After not getting an RBI the entire month of July, Bako raised his batting average to a robust .198 and his RBI total to an amazing 6. He'll get another start (probably) Saturday when Maddux pitches against Jason Schmidt. Bako is 3-11 lifetime against Schmidt with 3 RBI.
Bako is still looking for his first career Cubs home run, but I anticipate great things for this young man.
That Nomar trade seems to be working out nicely doesn't it?
Let's look at another picture of the guy just for the hell of it!
